Norwex Products!

So, a few months ago, I attended a Norwex party hosted by a friend on our ward. It caught my attention because not only did they say they could cut cleaning time down, but it mentioned cleaning without chemicals. Andy and I have been talking about how much chemicals we use to clean and that it was so bad for us. So, when I saw the information, I decided to attend. Anyway, the products seemed amazing! This is what I learned:

1. Microfiber is more tightly woven so it has been tested to remove 99% of bacteria.
2. There is silver lining in their antibac material and this kills the bacteria in the towel. My towels always started to stink after a few days but these towels don't! In fact, you probably really only need to wash them every 2 weeks.
3. You can use just the enviro cloth and their window cloth to clean all mirrors and windows. It will be streak free without the use of windex. Also, I personally saw how easily it removes butter from the mirrors. It was soo easy!! And the cloth didn't even feel greasy. :)
4. The cleaning products they do have are organic.

Anyway, I've used a few of the products so far and this is what I love:
**Enviro cloths - I use these to clean the counters and to wipe the sinks in the bathroom. I love it because the towels haven't started to stink! Our towels usually seem to get stinky withing a few days, however, I have used the enviro cloth for the past few days and they do not smell stinky at all. Plus, in the bathroom especially, it's nice to know that the bacteria is being removed every time I'm wiping the sink area that I feel like it's constantly being cleaned. Now we really won't have to deep clean the sinks. :)
**Body Cloth - I use this to try our hands and to wipe our face. Previously, our towel would start to get a "crusty" feel to it and we knew it needed to be washed...this would be after a few days. Well, I've used the body cloth for the past few days and no "crusty" feeling yet. Plus, no stinky smell as well.
**Descaler - I used their descaler to clean of the lime build up and rust on my shower track area. It was so EASY!!! The best thing is that I didn't smell a thing!!! At least, I did not notice any chemical smells. It was nice. :)
**Cleaning paste - what a nice easy way to get our chrome clean!!!

Anyway, that's all so far. I'm barely started using their dryer balls and detergent. They seem to work well so far but I've only used it once, so we'll see how it goes as I use it more. I do have friends that absolutely love these items as well. In fact, a friend said that her son would break out in a rash on his arms...well, with the Norwex detergent, he no longer has those break outs...I just thought that was amazing!

I'm very excited about these products and the fact that I can remove the chemicals from my home. I just recently signed up as a independent sales consultant so if you are interested in learning more or trying out the products, please let me know! Also, here is a video that introduces their popular starter package.

Great Deals!!

I am always on the look out for great deals! For example, at one point, with our visa signature credit card, I learned that we could buy 1 movie ticket and get 1 free on Fandango.com. That was an awesome deal and it lasted for a few months. Anyway, I have purchased diapers through diapers.com and found that they have pretty good deals for a first time buyer. A person can get $10 off their first order of diapers from the visit. Even better yet, after I purchased my order, I found that I could refer people to the website. For those who order, they will get $10 off the first order and $5 off the second order. In return for referring them, I, myself, would get a $10 credit on my account!!! WOOHOO!!

So, as a result, I have posted a link to diapers.com on my sidebar. If anyone is looking to save money on baby stuff, please use my Referral Code: WAIM5861

If you don't have a need for it or have a friend who does, please pass it on as well. :)

Pregnancy Centering Group

For my pre-natal care, I enrolled in the Pregnancy Centering Group. Basically, there were about eight couples that were all due around the same time. It was great! It was nice to have the extra time with our phsycian, Dr. Bolt. It was also really nice to be with the others as well. We were all able to learn from each other. If possible, I would always choose this option for my prenatal care. I think it helped ease a lot of my nerves. :) There are a few from our last group and then pictures from our reunion. It was fun to see everyone and to see all the babies. Unfortunately, there were three couples who weren't able to make it.

Devin is 2 months!

Last Monday, Devin had his 2 month check. The nurse said he was doing great! He is 22.5 inches long and weighs 11 lbs 13 ounces. I can't believe he is almost 12 lbs!!! My baby is growing so fast.

Anyway, Devin LOVES sitting in his kick and play chair. He likes to look at the lights and makes all sorts of noises. He is extremely cute. Here are some pics we took of him. You can tell he is just one happy baby. I love his smile... enjoy the pics!

Justin and Jessica

This past weekend, we were lucky to have Justin and Jessica come visit!! They came to Minnesota to attend Devin's baby blessing. It was a short visit but we had fun. They arrived on Friday and that night, we played a few rounds of mahjong...it's been a long time since I've played so I thought it was a lot of fun. On Saturday, we were able to go to the Mall of America and also to a small waterfall. One day we'll have to go visit them in Wisconsin. :)

Devin's Smile

It is soo fun to see Devin's smile. :) I love it when he smiles. Fortunately, my dad has been able to catch a few pictures of it. Here are two pics that he took yesterday of Devin's smile.

My Little Devin

These are pictures that my sister Julia took when Devin was just a week old...She did such a great job! I wish I could take pictures that were just as good..:)

Here are pics that Andy and I took. Andy took the ones with Devin wearing the shirt with the train and I took the ones with him in the little hoodie...as you can tell, I have a lot to learn when it comes to taking pictures. But at least you can see how much he's grown. I can't believe he's already a month old!! Time sure does fly.

Family

I am so glad that my parents and two sisters were able to come stay with us and help with Devin. Fortunately, my parents were here before he came. My two sisters came shortly after. I'm glad they were able to come and meet Devin as well. Now, we just need the rest of the family to meet him. :)

While we were here, we just hung out at home. Dorothy and Julia worked on some crafts and we had a great time just chatting. It was also nice to have them around while I finished my last two MBA classes!! I don't think I could have done it without them here.

Anyway, here are a few pics... :)

~Pregnancy Pictures~

I've been meaning to post pics of myself each month but never got around to doing it until now. I've been really good in at taking a least one picture of myself each month...unfortunately, I didn't start doing this until my 4th month. Anyways, at least people should really be able to tell that I'm pregnant now. :) I hope you enjoy the pics....

Christmas Day!!!

Despite not being able to be with any family during Christmas, Andy and I had a lot of fun spending the day with our friends the McCammons. They were kind enough to invite us over to watch their kids open gifts and to just hang out.

They were planning on opening gifts around 9 am so Andy and I decided to open gifts on Christmas Eve. Here are the items that we got.... Andy had gotten me a settler's expansion game (Traders and Barbarians) and my Mom got me a pair of nice slippers. :) I also received a very nice scarf from my sister Julia. I got Andy a book and also a nice pair of slippers and Dorothy got him an ergonomic mouse...that way his wrist won't hurt anymore. He really likes the mouse but it will definitely take time to get use to it. He also got a new camera bag (Lowpro Slingshot) and another controller for our PS3. We were pretty excited to finally be able to put our camera in a protective case. :) Anyway, for baby Sio, I had gotten a gift from my friend Melissa when we were in Provo and decided to put it under the Christmas tree. It was a little book with a finger puppet that went along with it. It was soo cute! I can't wait to be able to use it.

Anyway, Christmas morning we headed over to the McCammons. It was fun to watch their kids open the gifts. They were especially excited for the little indoor trampoline. They each took turns jumping in it. We then spent time playing with their new toys with them and then I helped Jen begin to prepare the Christmas Dinner...we ate around 2 o'clock...after Ryan's parents arrived...and then they opened the remaining gifts. One of the big items they got was a WII so we watched them do some boxing. It's always fun to see people boxing...it makes me laugh every time.

We then headed home. I got to speak to my family a little bit and Tim decided to turn on his web cam so we could see what was going on. It was fun to see my family open gifts (even if it was just the last 2 gifts.) Then, Andy decided he wanted to go watch a movie...so we decided to watch Avatar in 3D. I didn't think I would like it but it was actually really good. I really enjoyed the 3D effects...it was worth it...at least compared to watching UP in 3D.

Afterwards, we came home and got ready for bed. Christmas was nice and relaxing and I feel lucky to have such good friends...especially when family isn't near by. Anyway, here are a few pics of our holiday. :)

Our Christmas Tree....yes, a cheap one from Wal-Mart. But at least it works. :)
